Rich color, bottom right stamp with s.e. and top right stamp with slightly rounded corner from overlap at top, tied by large red grid handstamp on oversized 1860 cover to Dublin, Ireland, red "N. York Am. Pkt., 3, Sep 15" exchange cds with integral rate smudged out and re-rated "12" in red manuscript, red "London, Paid, Sp 27, 60" transit and receiving backstamp; cover folded in at sides, Very Fine, a remarkable multiple 1860, 24¢ Gray Lilac franking paying the quadruple 24¢ rate to Ireland, ex Newbury.
