Large part of cover front franked with France 1854, 80c lake, tete beche pair tied by "644" dotted lozenge cancel paying the double 8 decimes per 7.50 grams rate, red "New York, Paid 30, Dec 28" entry cds and partial "N.O.U.S. City Post, Jan 6" cds at lower right; front rebacked and tete beche pair large margins to just touching at right & left stamp with light filing crease, F.-V.F. appearance; with 1993 von der Weid certificate. Scott No. 19a; $17,500 off cover used  Estimate $5,000 - 7,500. Sent via Cunard Line - Per steamer Asia, departing Liverpool on December 11th and arriving at New York on December 27th. $0 (Image)
