Ample to large margins, manuscript canceled on 1849 folded letter to Camden, S.C., with manuscript "Providence, S.C., Sept 20" postmark and "5" rate alongside, Very Fine, the only known 1847 issue usage from Providence, S.C. the Providence post office received no 1847 stamps of either denomination.
