TRINIDAD - 1879 (1½d) vermilion postal stationery formula foreign postcard (H&G 2), bearing 1d & vertically bisected 1d stamps to make up the 1½d foreign rate, fine unused. Stamps were applied to these cards prior to sale to the public, until June 1879 no ½d stamps were issued and therefore 1d stamps were bisected. Very rare. (Image1)
