Phenomenal 1927 American Legion Convention in Paris, France former exhibit in a large binder in a medium carton. Encompasses roughly 120 FDCs, commercial covers, and postcards to various destinations in the United States, Canada, within France, remainder to Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the rest of the world. Stamps include position pieces, varieties, special pieces, essays, and unusual errors. Also includes some fascinating ephemera. France issued this set of two stamps Scott #243-244 to honor the American Legion. It was the first time a foreign organization has ever been honored by France in appreciation for the Americans help during WW I. Outstandingly awesome and a one of a kind selection. Awesome A-Z worldwide soccer collection from 1933-2019 in three cartons. Thousands of mostly used and CTO stamps in mainly full sets, singles, souvenir sheets, FDCs, commercial covers in ten Excellent albums and slipcases produced in the Netherlands. Organized in ABC order in Dutch. Majority are contemporary issues from the last fifty years. Spotted a few better Italian colonies from the 1930s. Also includes an additional binder of around fifty covers. A wonderful, attractive topical collection. All proceeds from this lot will be donated to the William Smith College Huron's Soccer Team.
