Tokelau 1927 "FAKAOFO / UNION ISLANDS" 29mm diameter cds, fine strike 19 JE-27 on NZ 2d Victory on neat piece. NZ took over administration of the Tokelau Islands from Gilbert & Ellice Islands Colony on 4/11/1925. Uhntil 1948, the 3 Tokelau POs were supplied only with Western Samoa 1d stamps, so this must be a philatelic use. Still, a rare item today.
