1899 1a dull green to 10a carmine & green, hinged, bright colors, fresh and well-centered, most with small hinge remnants, the 1a and 2a values with some adhesions to gum, a few negligible short perfs at top of 4a, irrelevant given the rarity of this desirable set, very fine; (Sc. 70-74, $7,800).King Chulalongkorn rejected these designs in 1897, but some were mistakenly released to three post offices in October, 1899.
