California Townmark Collection, 1940-60's. About 375 #6 envelopes, all addressed to Owen Wade, former postmaster of Colton, Oregon, most bearing small town handstamps such as four-bars or duplexes, but a very few machine cancels, cancel dates range between the late 40's into the mid 60's, and many are PM-signed last day usages, mostly different but also some duplicates. Many are "recent" discontinued post offices, such as Copco, Corriganville, Death Valley Junction, Linnell, Loftus, Minersville, stations are also represented, such as Agua Caliente Springs, Aranbee, Big Basin, Briceland, Fernbridge, Gorman, Iowa Hill, Nipinnawassee, McKinleyville, Miracle Hot Springs, Olinda, Pulga, Sawyers Bar, there are no issues of condition.
