Group of 4 Airmail Special Delivery Covers to the United States, 1931-1939, includes E9 on a MAR.31.1939 cover from Vancouver to San Francisco, used on the last day that the stamp was current (which only lasted one month, small piece missing from the back, else very fine). Also covers from Toronto, Hamilton and Victoria, all with E4 (these three all with various faults). A scarce group which catalogues $325 in Unitrade. (Image)

Collection of 50 Different Airmail E3 Special Delivery First Flight Covers, 1928-1932, with a few past that date range, all franked with the #E3 Special Delivery stamp (and others) and almost all listed in AMCN2 (with owner's inventory list included), plus regular SD airmail covers, noting several first flight cachets, different routes, rates and postmarks. Collection of 73 E3 Special Delivery Franked Covers, 1927-1939, plus a few later, all franked with the E3 Special Delivery issue (plus a variety of other regular stamps). We note a great variety of material, including airmail (some of those with Airmail stamps), first flights, Royal Train covers, couple of E3 single frankings, cross border, postage due, corner card, a C4 FDC, etc., as well as good postmark interest, noting smaller towns, duplex and much more. We counted 7 oversize covers, one front and some that have creases, opening or other faults, etc., still overall very fine and a great lot for the special delivery collector or dealer. (Image)

Specialized Collection of the 1927 20c Orange Special Delivery Stamp on Cover, with 9 covers and one picture postcard, each having a special attraction having to do with its E3 franking. First cover is franked with the complete 1927 Confederation and Historical sets (plus E3) on a flight cover mailed 1928 Montréal to Albany; second cover is a Charles Lindbergh 1928 flown cover registered special delivery Québec to Chicago, with special label on back; third cover is franked with two E3 stamps mailed 1928 cross-border; fourth cover was mailed on the first day of issue of E3, 141 and 144 registered from Montréal to Brussels, Belgium (crease and stains); fifth cover was mailed 1927 registered special delivery from Vancouver to London, England; sixth cover is franked with a block of four #142 plus E3 mailed 1928 special delivery to Michigan; seventh item is a picture postcard mailed Montréal in 1929 to Brussels, Belgium (ex Leigh Hogg collection); eighth cover is a special delivery drop cover 1927 to and from Montréal; ninth cover is a first day cover for #142 and E3 Toronto to Toronto; and tenth cover is franked with an E3 and OX3 registered first flight Cameron Bay N.W.T. to Copper Mine.
