Group of Three E1 Special Delivery Covers, first is franked E1 + pair of 1c Edwards, tied by 1911 Niagara Field Post Office large c.d.s. to Toronto (includes a lovely unmailed colour card "Troups disembarking for Niagara Camp"). Second is franked with E1 + pair of 1c Franklins mailed 1909 from New York to Montreal, with E1 affixed (and tied) in Montreal. Three are franked with #E1, including a late 1921 usage which required a pair, a 9 ounce letter rate from Preston (roller) to Toronto, four covers are franked with #E2.
