[Believed to be the initials of Australian missionary Rev AH Abbott, who worked in the Solomons between 1904 & 1920. In 1906, he moved to Nongisila, and that may be the origin of these stamps] (3 items)

POSTAL MARKINGS: Manuscript "AHA/22-12-07" neatly inscribed centrally on Large Canoes ½d 1d 2d & 2½d reconstructed on piece & tied to each other by Brisbane cds of JA3/08: Franks #126. The initials are of the Reverend AH Abbott, an Australian missionary in the Solomons 1904-1920. In 1906, he moved to Nongisila, and that may be the origin of this item.
