Mostly German-period group including 1896 & 1898 pieces with 20pf pair or 50pf & 2mk tied by the Postagentur cds, very fine 1900 mission cover to France with 20pf strip of 4 also tied by Postagentur cds, Overprints set on separate pieces, other commercial mail with 1906 use of 5pf Postal Card to Germany, 1913 double-rate cover to Australia & philatelic 1912 to Fiji; then GRI Postal Cards unused x4, CTO x4 & philatelic usages x2; some suntanning on reverse of the Postal Cards otherwise fine to very fine.

1915 (Jan 22) social usage of Postal Card GRI Overprint 1d on 10pf(+1d on 10pf) message-half to Auckland with message headed "Pilot Station/Apia Samoa", faint bend, uncensored message states "... The troopship is expected here any day now ... I have hopes of catching the first trip back ... The harbour has been a death trap to most of the shipping ... The Staff are greatly agitated about a wireless from NZ saying a German warship is coming this way ..." RPSofL Certificate (undated but signed by John Wilson) states "is genuine" but mistakenly refers to a stamp "... SG 103 used on postcard ..." instead of to a Postal Card.
