Inc. a range of 1850 6c black (shades) pus 12c lilac & 5r red (corner fault), 1851 6c black shades with varieties, also 12c, 1852 range inc. 5r green, 1853-56 issues, mostly low denominations, 1862 & 1864 vals to 2r, etc. Also, a study of 'cartwheel' numerical cancels on the 1860 4c value with numbers from 1-63. 1877 EXPERIMENTAL CANCELLATIONS: 11 May 1877 E from Barcelona to U.S.A. bearing 1876 25c x 4 brown tied by strikes of the experimental cancellation with holes in the centre to pierce the stamps. Fine. 9 July 1877 EL from Barcelona to Mulhouse, Alsace bearing 1876 5c and 20c (2) with similar experimental cancellations. Plus 1876 5c & 10c (11) with the same experimental hole producing cancellations. A most unusual experiment which caused damage to the covers, and subsequent anger amongst the general public. Includes 1938 & 1939 covers to GB & Italy respectively with Italian frankings from "Uffi. Postale Speciale" nos 4 & 5; 1937 & 1938 Nationalist Propaganda cards & undated censored cover from Falange Party Office in Burgos to Mallorca carried free of charge; range of military censored mail to various, mostly overseas, destinations from both Nationalist held and Republican area, a variety of cachets in evidence.
