VARIETY OF SHIP/INDIA LETTERS: Small range inc. 22 June 1810 EL (interesting contents; partly cross-written) to Worcestershire ex Lisbon, rated "2/4" in black ms, with ms "for/Packet}" in bottom left corner, with fine green/blue "LISBON/JU 22/1810/F" cds on front; 1814/1832 ELs (2) to Wales or Liverpool with interesting contents, one carried on the H.M.S. Blenheim "Off Toulon" and the other carried by the H.M.S. "Pantaloon"; and 11 July 1831 E to London ex Calcutta, with fair black boxed "CALCUTTA/G.P.O./SHIP LETTER/ 11 JUY 11/1831" hs (blurred), fine black boxed "INDIA LETTER/LIVERPOOL" hs, and red double-ring "E/2 DE 2/1831" receiver's cds on reverse; plus other Es and wrappers with various Ship Letter markings.
