John Hutchinson of Royal Army Service Corps to his young son with message dated Nov. 15. Morley, 25th Batalion, Middlesex Regt. to his wife in Douglas, Isle of Man with rather indistinct c.d.s. of the British Mission P.O., with interesting enclosed letter headed “Vladivostock/July 21st 1919” reporting that the “Russian Volunteer Fleet have ceased running, the men being out on strike in sympathy with the railway workers. Still boats do come from Japan, so I expect we shall receive the long looked for mail some day”.
