Romania, Michel 10 iiX **/*, 1862 coat of arms 30 par in complete sheet of 32 with 4×8 tete-beche pairs on white wove paper, Scott #16a, complete sheet as tête-bêche and singles cat only $2360. However, as a sheet it is considerably scarcer, far more than the sum of its parts. Undoubtably an exhibition item, few sheets extant today. (Image1)

Excellent collection with a strong range of classics, mint and used, with some important material including top quality coat of arms 1862, as well as the small 40para with blue cancel superb, followed by the 1865s with attractive cds, 1866 complete, 1868s complete to 50 bani, sometimes with pleasant duplication of the classics. Then the 1871 to top value, again superb quality through to the first perforated issues of the same, 1875/79 though 1890s etc. Also a good showing on the 20th with plenty of good stamps inc 1906 mint through to 1924/25/26/27 all complete, etc ending with the postage dues.
