1859: Registered entire letter to Galatz carrying valuables (endorsed as travelling with 355 gold coins at left with return receipt requested) struck with "JASSY / MOLDOVA" circular datestamp (June 9) and rare usage of framed Cyrillic "FRANCO" and "RECEPISSE" registration handstamp all in blue (Kiriac figs. 292+216). Charged "33 Lei" in manuscript at upper right (old Lei = 1'320 parale). Two insignificant file folds, a wonderful and extremely rare entire.
