1903 £1 forgery, on unwkd thick horiz laid paper, p11½ on 3 sides & p10 & 11½ on other, with "24/3/03" above initials "JEP" (or "TED"). The design substantially differs from a normal example, even thought about ½ the design is absent, possibly due to a solvent spill. Also incl normal for comparison & article detailing differences between the two stamps. This is believed to be the first forgery of any QVLT 2nd series known. (Image)
