Cat No:155a, 166
1910-13 2s6d black and crimson (pos. LG3) and £1 rose-scarlet and bluish black (pos. MG3), matching upper marginal examples with large part imprint, large part o.g. The £1 clearly shows part of the 'Z' flaw (at lower right, in margin), with a trace present on the 2s6d. Minor blemishes (each with a toned perf), still lovely colours and rarities with imprint, the survival rate of such examples being very low. (Compare the premiums now attached to Australian Kangaroo monograms!) | Estimate - £800-£1200 (Image)
