REVENUES - IMPRESSED DUTY: 1899 (circa) Cullinanes Limited 'Memorandum of Association' large-part document with Perf 12 2/6d blue, £5 brown & £20 lilac affixed tied by Brisbane 'QUEENSLAND STAMP DUTY' embossed cancels in red, light vertical fold affecting the £5 and minor aging marks, Elsmore Online Cat $130+ for loose stamps only. Cullinanes were founded on the Gympie goldfields and in the 1930s had department stores on both sides of Mary Street; the buildings that have replaced them are known as 'Cullinanes Plaza'.
REVENUES - IMPRESSED DUTY: 1903 Transfer of Shares document with KEVII 10/- green solo affixed tied by 'QUEENSLAND STAMP DUTY' embossed crowned cancel in red, minor edge faults & folds not affecting the adhesive, Elsmore Online Cat $80+ for loose stamp only. The document witnesses the transfer of 250+ shares in Warwick Gas Light Power & Coal Co to Queensland Trustees Ltd for the princely sum of 10/-!
