1882-95 Large Chalons Thick Beer Duty Paper with Large Crown/Q Wmk £1 deep green as SG 161 but with the Watermark Inverted, large-part original gum, Cat £325+. Unlisted by Gibbons. [Inverted watermark errors are rarely seen on Queensland stamps. Ken Scudder at page 71, in respect of the Pound, states "A few are known with the watermark inverted"]
1895 Thick Paper with Railway Stamp Watermark Perf 12 1/- mauve SG 205 marginal block of 30 (10x3) from the top of the sheet, mostly well centred, the upper row with Minor Offset on all Units, six units with annotated plate flaws, a couple of minor blemishes, virtually full original gum with most units being unmounted, Cat £1350++, for mounted singles.
1911 Railway Stamp Perforator Irregular Compound Perf 10½-12½ 1d red ACSC Q15 (SG 313), unusually well centred for this poorly produced issue, tied to small piece by 'TIARO/7JUL11/QUEENSLAND' cds, Cat £750. RPSofV Certificate (2011). [At least the equal of the example that sold at our auction of 5.9.2009 for $930. This is a significantly underrated stamp, of which the ACSC states only about 20 used examples have been recorded in private hands, of which this is the only example used at Tiaro]
