1868 1c Brown Red Large Queen on Watermarked Bothwell Paper, a used group of eleven stamps, each clearly showing a variety of clear letters of the watermark. A variety of postmarks include 2-ring 5 (Hamilton), 2-ring 7 (St John), a NS grid, etc. Two stamps have small corner creases and one has a penciled outline of the watermark, still a sound group and catalogued as all fine, even though a few are very fine. A rarely offered stamp in such quantity, and would be a great start to a full watermark reconstruction on this value. (Image)

Unitrade only lists the vertical watermark as "3 used copies recorded two with faults" (does not list horizontal) and Duckworth does not report the horizontal stitch watermark on this value, only the 6c and 12½c.
