1905 (Nov 11) illustrated advertising cover for WJ Moxham & Co & 'Cling Surface' printed in blue on bluish, to New York "Per RMS Sonoma" with Diadem 5d tied by 'SYDNEY/ 30 ' cds, San Francisco transit & Le Roy arrival b/s, minor blemishes. [William James Moxham was Sydney agent for many American firms. He was also a shameless self-promoter who claimed to have been a naval captain when, in fact, he was a ship's carpenter!]
1906 (Oct 30) illustrated advertising cover for Louis Gille & Co and Australian General Catholic Depot to Germany "Per RMS Britannia" with NSW ½d & 1d pair, Berlin arrival b/s. Superb! [Imprint states 'SUPPLIERS BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT TO HIS HOLINESS PIUS X'. Suppliers of what?]
1907 illustrated advertising covers for NSW firms 1) Comino Bros Fish Oysters Fruit & Confectionary registered, 2) Australian Hotel Cowra; and 3) Criterion Hotel Narandera (error for Narrandera); all to Tattersalls in Hobart, filled spikeholes. [The two hotel types have a common generic design that was probably widely used]

1919 (June 5) illustrated advertising cover for Hiscox's Guildford Hotel with Third Wmk 6d blue tied by 'GUILDFORD/WA' cds, large blank R label with 'GUILDFORD' h/s, to America with Perth transit & New York arrival b/s, part of the flap removed on opening. Ex 'Tillie Mitchell': sold at our auction of 29.8.2020 for $575.
1919 (July 4) illustrated advertising cover for Craven's Drapers of the Moment (!) registered double-rate to GB with Kangaroos Third Wmk 2½d & 3d tied by 'RUNDLE STREET/ADELAIDE' cds, early red/white R label, minor blemishes & repaired flap fault. The rate was Empire Letter 1d per ½oz x2 + ½d War Tax + 3d registration = 5½d.
1919 (Dec 31) illustrated advertising cover for Essex R Picot Ltd to New York with Kangaroos Third Wmk 3d tied by 'HELP REPATRIATION/BUY/WAR SAVINGS CERTIFICATES' slogan cancel, minor blemishes. The rate was Foreign Letter 2½d + ½d War Tax.
1920 (Feb 11) illustrated advertising cover for The NSW Bookstall to New Jersey with KGV 1½d brown x2 - with varieties ACSC 85(8)L & 85(5)k - tied by Krag slogan cancel of Sydney, minor blemishes. The Foreign Letter rate was 2½d + ½d war tax. The rate rose to 4d on 1.10.1920.
1921 (Aug 17) illustrated advertising window envelope for Queensland Machinery Co window envelope underpaid to the USA with KGV 2d orange only tied by Brisbane machine, '20/CTMS/T' h/s & 'US CHARGE/COLLECT 4 CENTS' h/s, torn across the window still a beautiful cover.
1921 (Oct) illustrated advertising cover for Wincombe Carson Ltd & 'Lister' Oil Engines, to New York with KGV 1d red & 2d orange tied by Brisbane cds, minor bends.
1927 (May 19) illustrated advertising cover for EW Cole Book Arcade with monochrome rainbow!, to Portland (b/s) with KGV 2d & Canberra 1½d tied by 'BOURKE STREET E/MELBOURNE' cds with red/white 'Bourke-street East' R label, repaired flap fault. Registered advertising covers are rarely seen.

1935 (May 3) illustrated advertising cover for 'Cooinoo, Turramurra' registered to England with KGV 5d tied by superb 'TURRAMURRA/NSW' cds, blue/white R label 'No 0001' (fault), opened-out. [The stately home Cooinoo on Kissing Point Road, was built for William James Adams, heir to the Tattersall's fortune. During the 1920s, it was converted into an upmarket guest house]

1936 (Oct 23) illustrated advertising cover for Wenzel Pty Ltd by air to Harrods in London with 6d Large Kookaburra, 1/- SA Centenary & KGV 1d tied by Melbourne cds of 25OC34 (error for '36'), opened-out. Most attractive. [Wenzel & Co is an Australian-owned wholesale textiles business, founded in Melbourne in 1911]
1937 (Mar 4) illustrated advertising cover for Hygienic Baby Carriages with Stork delivering Baby, printed matter usage to Geelong with KGV 1d green tied by 'COM'LTH ELECTIONS/VOTING/COMPULSORY' slogan of Melbourne.
1937 (July 22) Exide Batteries Starting Lighting Radio multi-coloured illustrated advertising envelope showing motor car with headlights on country road, sent registered to Queensland with KGV 1d green & 2d red pair tied 'GUYRA/NSW' cds with blue R label alongsdie, carried by train with TPO 2 NORTH/DN-24JL37/NSW' transit b/s, re-directed on arrival with 'POST OFFICE/TENTERFIELD, NSW' arrival b/s, couple of minor blemishes. The illustration looks like an adhesive label, but it is definitely printed on the envelope. Pre-WWII multi-colour advertising envelopes are very scarce.
