1884 long blue cover (a few age spots) to "Resident Engineer, Public Works Office, Nelson", endorsed "Tender for Lyell Road Improvement Contract". Franked 1882 2d SSF canc very worn & illegible 1855-type obliterator (of Nelson), b/s fine 5-line A-type cds (Craddock Type 6) of Nelson 3 AP 84 (with index "C" at top, not mentioned by Craddock). This d/s known 1878-88. Repaired opening tear.
