1901 stampless OPSO printed cover with imprint of "District Land & Survey Office, Wellington" (ptg code "5,000/8/1900-4934]) & h/s "Receiver of Land Revenue". Franked purple facsimile signature h/s (indecipherable). Canc fine Wgtn "flag" machine d/s Feb 6 1901, b/s fine A-type cds of Pahiatua & Pongaroa. Original contents still inside (rental receipt for Mt Cerebus block). Patch of soiling on back, otherwise fine. Scarce item.

1943 WWII printed stampless "Church Army / NPFB" OAS cover ex Maadi Camp, Egypt (MPO / KW2 cds 18 AUG), to RNZAF airman at Rotorua, NZ. B/s 2 fine Rotorua Air Force cds 4 OC 43. Readdressed with "TAEIRI" h/s (misspelt - should be "TAIERI") (for Taieri Air Force: b/s fine cds 12 OC 43). Then sent to his home address in Napier (cds 16 OC 43). From there, redirected to Brandon, Manitoba, Canada (2 Canadian MPO d/s 27 NOV 43). Presumably reached him there! Some edge wear but good.
