1921 AU The periphery is well struck but the central details of the coin are weakly impressed. There are curious raised areas of the eagle's wing that look to be the result of a strike anomaly not damage. In the 1960s, 1921 Peace Dollars were scarce, but the higher prices of today have coaxed quite a few out of hiding. The high relief of this issue makes it a popular one-year type coin. (Image)
