Italian States - Papal State 1852, 5 Baj. (1855 Urbino - Pesaro - Milano - Rome) Mixed franking Papal States - Austria. Insufficiently paid letter franked with 5 Baj. from Urbino to Milan. The letter arrived in Milan on December 19th. There "Bollo insufficiente" was marked and 6 Kr. were charged: 3 Kr. missing + surtax of 3 Kr. On the next day the letter was fully franked mit 45 Cent. and forwarded to Rome. The 45 Cent. als well as the 5 Baj. stamp were marked "Milano" and the tax of 6 Kr. was crossed out.
