Calendar Collection of Palestine #s 2 and 3 Rouletted Mandate Issues (a.k.a. "The Blues"), mounted on 11 pages by day and month, with some on piece, some multiples (incl. a block of 20 with undated parcel cancels) and many identified by post office. We counted 211 #2 and 23 #3 for a catalogue value of $625, with no premium added for any of the postmarks (Bale suggests 100% premium should be added to clear dated postmarks), some of which are scarce to rare, such as first and second day of issue postmarks (FEB.5 and 6. 1918). A great basis for continuation, perfect for the specialist, scans only show a few example pages. (Image)
