POSTAL HISTORY: 1930s-40s commercial covers virtually all with multi-value frankings of the Pictorials series with up to Eight Colours, strength in the WWII period with a good variety of censor labels & cachets, numerous airmails, also registered, express, OAT AV2 & jusqu'a usages, taxed, advertising, rabbinical, Printed Matter, Postal Cards & Aerogrammes, excellent array of destinations including Allied Occupation of Germany, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Estonia, French India, Holland, Iraq, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Sweden & Yugoslavia, condition variable but most are fine to very fine. Ex Brian Pope and partly prepared by him for display, providing an excellent basis for a fascinating exhibit.
