PAKISTAN - 1949-1970 SUBSTANTIAL COLLECTION mint, never hinged mint and used, written up in an album. Comprises 1948-57 and 1949-53 definitive complete set both mint and used, including all the SG listed additional perfs, plus a few varieties e.g. 1½a printed on gummed side (SG 45ab); also the De La Rue printings with a few imprint multiples, plus some imperf plate proof multiples and working proof multiples. Then a comprehensive run of commemorative issues mint and used, often accompanied by a first day cover, sometimes with 'extras' including errors and varieties - note 1949 Jinnah set in imperf plate proof pairs NHM, 1952 Stamp Centenary imperf plate proof pairs NHM, 1966 Research Institute imperf pair (SG 236a) NHM, 1969 Inauguration of Pearl Route set missing yellow and pink colours NHM, and much more. Note 1948-54 set to 10R (all 3 perfs) mint, plus set to 10R (2 different perfs) used; 1949 mint & used sets, plus 1½a overprint inverted (SG O28a) used; 1951 Independence Anniv. mint & used sets, plus 8a imperf plate proof pair NHM; 1953 mint set (also set to 5R used), plus 2a complete sheet of 80 NHM, the bottom left stamp with 'SERVICE' omitted due to pre-printing paper fold; 1954-55 m&u sets; 1957-59 m&u sets plus 1a printed on gummed side (SG O55b).
