Dec. 2nd 1878", good color but there is some slight overall discoloring, there is some slight toning on the back, this stamp matches up with another example which has the same date, the same slight discoloring and the same paper color, that example has a 2008 PFC certificate mentioning the discoloring and cancel, it is our opinion these two stamps were paired up at some earlier time, there are nine recorded examples of this rarity with this stamp being the 10th, Fine-Very Fine appearing example of this exceeding rare stamp and only the second $1 Green Paper we have ever handled, a color photocopy of the "sister" stamp certificate info is included, EX: Cunliffe (Image)
