RARE ROUTE: Airmail cover originally sent from San Juan (Argentina) to Honiara on 31/MAY/1969, from where it was fowarded to Sydney (Australia). When forwarded, the original postage was removed and a local stamp of 12c. was affixed to pay the franking to its new destination, where the addressee could not be found either, returning to sender to Argentina. It has some defects given its long journey, very fine appearance, rare! (Image)
