The collection must have been put together over a long period involving much painstaking research to identify the Dies. The collection of cut to shape or cut to square pieces of the three main official advertisers - W. H. Smith, Smith Elder & Co and Grindley & Co. Total of 250 between 1d and 1/-, all written up and identified, cancellations incl. Newspaper Branch, DSSF & Co, SSF & Co, TO1's & TO6's. A superb basis to work from or merge with existing study.
