1932-40 Pictorials 1/- Ceremonial Platform Original Artwork in pencil and India ink on art paper (120x156mm), signed at lower-left "Ernest Whitehouse del 1932", 16 towns are inscribed on the the periphery of the design, of which six are scored-through in red ink, with 'Bwagoia' having its spelling corrected. A typed Correct List of Post Offices is adhered, along with the typed admonition Be careful not to spell Samarai as Samaria; also a stamp-sized reproduction of the design is attached at base. In excellent condition overall, and a wonderful testamant to the skills of the artist. (Image1)
