1905 Picture postcards from the Russian P.O in Jerusalem posted on the same day to the same address in England, both franked 2k, one charged 1d postage due, the other charged 1½d, an unusual pair. Also 1905 card from the German P.O in Jaffa with violet boxed "Aus Jerusalem / Deutsche Post".

1918 (Sep 4) Cover to Switzerland, clearly sent by a civilian but posted into the Army Post Office, with 1p cancelled by "ARMY POST OFFICE / SZ 32" skeleton c.d.s at Bir Salem, backstamped with A.P.O SZ 22 skeleton at Port Said, censored with label and No. 3 cachet.
