1892 (Oct 19) Official Post Card, large royal arms at right, used from Penang to "Asst. Supt. Of Works, P.W.D, Butterworth", despatch and arrival datestamps. The message requests the more extensive use of these official cards, for all routine and unimportant questions instead of the present use of stray slips; the recipient has overwritten "please get me some postcards, say about 100 like this". 1894-96 Official Post Cards posted within Singapore, large royal arms at right, the cards with differing size fount for "The Address only to be written on this side", both with printed Corps Orders from the Singapore Volunteer Artillery, the 1894 card (120x90mm) with minor staining, the 1896 card (110x90mm) with light corner crease but otherwise fine. A good pair, the 1896 card with violet cachet of the Acting Commandant, S.V.A. (2).

1900-04 Official Post Cards with small royal arms at right, differing fount types for the heading, both from the G.P.O posted within Singapore, the 1900 card (124x90mm) advising that registered correspondence is lying at the G.P.O, the 1904 card (120x80mm) advising that a parcel "received broken" is currently at the G.P.O. The 1904 card with central vertical fold, otherwise fine, an unusual pair. (2).
