1855 4s Blue Coat of Arms Imperforate, a group of 4 used singles, showing slightly different shades, two have circular grid cancels. one has a 3-ring #25 (Bergen) and the other has a circular town cancel, One stamp has a Dietrich expert handstamp, and all four have full to large margins. Light crease on two stamps, else an overall very fine group. (Image)

This collection shows a good array of different postmarks, with town cancels, a "grotesque style" 383 numeral, a pen cancel, and a partial 3-ring numeral. This collection has a high percentage of nice postmarks, many dated town cancels, as well as some 3-ring numeral cancels, one grid cancel (catalogues 2½ times regular cancel in Facit) and one "grotesque style" 383 numeral. We also note an array of shades, as well as a proof (valued at 1,500 SEK in Facit, but not counted here). 1878 1kr to 2,50kr King Oscar II Issues, with quantities of used of each three denominations: Scott 32 (x30), 33 (x26) and 34 (x23). There are many very nice cancels here, including circular town cancels, boxed cancels, etc. Also includes one mint #33. Saw a few small faults, still overall fine to very fine, and rarely offered. The Facit catalogue gives a good premium on nicely cancelled examples. (Image)
