(partial transit strike on back), franked with a 3c Small Queen tied by a fancy cork cancel. Strathclair N.W.T. postmark has a RF of "E" and postmarks are recorded from APR.1882 to MAR.1883. Newdale N.W.T. has a RF of "E" and postmarks are recorded between APR.1882 and AUG.1882. Very fine, and accompanied by owner's one page write-up. (Image)

Two Early N.W.T. Items, first is a 1c GPC mailed from Whitewood ASSA (no postmarks but return address) to the Agent of Dominion Lands at Regina N.W.T. with a partial receiver on back dated NOV.11.1883 (crease). The second is a cover mailed from Prince Albert, N.W.T. on AUG.7.1882 to Grenville QC (SEP.13 receiver on back) franked with three 1c Small Queens, each with a very fine strike of Lacelle's fancy cork cancel #1501 (recorded by him used only in NOV.1882 (slightly reduced at left). Also includes two Regina N.W.T. postmarks, one on piece OCT.7.1883 and on 1c SQ MAR.23.1895. (Image)

Small Queen Cover, mailed on JUL.24.1883 (free strike of broken circle, first report) to Drayton, with a faint receiver, franked with a strip of three 1c Small Queens, cancelled by cork cancels.
