1898 10/-, Deep violet shade overprinted "SPECIMEN" and superb used with 1898 (SP 12) Bonny River c.d.s, perf 14 bright violet pair used on piece with Desema Southern Nigeria cancels or overprinted "CONSULAR" (2) with British Vice Consul revenue cancels (one of Opobo). 1892-1901 Postal stationery postcards including 1893 Oil Rivers 1d card cancelled scarce "BENIN" parcel handstamp with Benin River c.d.s on the front, both in red; 1893 Oil Rivers ½d postcard with "BONNY" parcel cancel in black (a stamp unfortunately removed); also Oil Rivers 1d postcard posted at Opobo river, Niger Coast 1d postcards posted at Bonny River or Forcados River, etc. (7).

Forgeries. Selection including forged Niger Coast or Niger Co. Territories cancels on G.B stamps (16), Lagos 5/- with forged crowned circle cancel, forged 1893 Old Calabar surcharges on Oil Rivers stamps (9, S.G. 13 possibly genuine but with a Lombard Street cancel) or G.B (3), and forged 1894 Opobo River surcharges (3), an interesting reference group.
