Group of Mostly Censored World War II Newfoundland Covers, with 13 covers mailed 1943-1944 to the United States with "Passed by R.C.A.F. / Censor" handstamps, also one each unused P2 and P3 stationery postcards, a 1942 cover to the United States with 7353 censor tape, 1917 registered cover to the US, 1907 2c King Edward VII cover to England and an 1894 cover to Ottawa (missing stamp) with three different contents (some do not belong). Group of 12 Different "AYRE" Perfin Newfoundland Covers, 1930-1947, with a good variety of different frankings, 7 were mailed to the United States, 2 to Canada, and we note that 11 of the covers have the Ayre & Sons advertising. 1932 DO-X Trans Atlantic Cover Flown to England, mailed St Johns Newfoundland on MAY.19.1932 (neat strike of the usual slogan machine cancel) and addressed to London, England, with no receiver. The cover is franked with a very fine example of the specially overprinted $1.50 on $1 Dornier DO-X Flight Airmail issue. Very fine, with pencil notation on back "Flown cover guaranteed / Geo. C.
