New Zealand, Collection, 1855-1900, mint and used housed on album pages; with early issues mostly used starting with a 1855 1sh value (Sc. 3, cat $6,000), following 1855-58 issues with complete blue paper issues (Sc. 4-6, cat $6,525) with key 1sh clear to mostly large margins, white paper issues with better 1sh values, good showing o.g. 1862 issues with many 4-margin issues, strong representation of 1863-66 perforated issues including some mint, similar 1871-71 issues, completion thereafter and predominately mint after 1878, includes nice mint 1898 View set complete (Sc. 70-83, cat $1,195) and the following watermark set, section of 1874 issue bluish papers, back-of-the-book with 1900 postage due set complete mint, newspapers and life insurance issue complete, also a section of railway newspapers and revenues used for postage; a nice assembly of issues with condition above the norm overall, ex Isleham.
