1855-1990 collection in 4 albums, a group of used Chalons (very mixed) is followed by later QV (incl. 2s and 5s), then a useful range of the 1898-1906 issues with five mint 1s, four 2s and four 5s Mt Cook (with used examples also). Mint and used thereafter, with better mint include the 1906 Christchurch and 1931 Smiling Boy sets, Victory with 3d in imperforate block of 4, the QE2 definitive sets, 1958 surcharge error, Health sheets etc. Also a little 'back of book' with mint and used Postal Fiscals. 1857-1953 small range of items (dealer's stock) priced up in counter book. A useful group of used Chalons includes SG 9, then (each with cert) SG 12, 86 and 100. Thereafter, 2 mint examples of 5s Mt Cook, D37/40, Victoria Land A3 in block of 4, 25s Postal Fiscal used and 1953 set of 7 imperforate proofs on gummed, watermarked paper from 1d to 8d. Also noted, 1898 2s mint printed on the gummed side (a scarce variety, recognised by Campbell Paterson and with Odenweller cert). (Image)
