1979, International Year of the Child, envelope QEII 10c. red with surcharge "ADDITIONAL 4c POSTAGE PAID", two pieces, unused and c.t.o. "CHRISTCHURCH 13 NO 79". This surcharge was necessary due to rate increases in August. Stated to 268 pieces existent, of which 56 were postmarked on 13 Nov which is the first day of issue.
