1850-51 Sydney Views Plate II (Clouds) Hard Toned White to Yellowish Paper 1d dull carmine SG 8, margins close to good, bars cancel of Sydney, Cat £400. Superb!
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate II (Clouds) Hard Toned White to Yellowish Paper 1d crimson-lake SG 9, margins good to large, a couple of insignificant imperfections, BN '48' cancel, Cat £400.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate II Horizontal-Lined Background & Dated Bale Worn Impressions 2d Prussian blue SG 26, an unusually deep & vibrant shade, margins good to large, Cat £200.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate III Single-Lined & Undated Bale 2d ultramarine horizontal pair the L/H unit with Whip Omitted SG 29/a, margins large to huge with outer frame-lines at top and left, poor impressions characteristic of this printing, faint stain on the left-hand (normal) unit, indistinct numeral cancel, Cat £650+.
1850-51 Sydney Views Plate V Pearl in Fan Vertically Laid Paper 2d dull ultramarine SG 38, margins good to large with compartment lines at left & right, indistinct numeral cancel, Cat £450. Ex Michael Haden: sold at our auction of 13.9.2008 for $303.
1885-86 High Value Revenues Overprinted 'POSTAGE' in Black 10/- lilac & claret Perf 12 SG 239a, a few faults & trimmed at the top, Cat £1200. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2006) states "GREY overprint" and "Very rare as only small number printed". [The overprint is underinked but we have still assessed it as 'black']
1890 Centennial High Values 20/- Governors Perf 11 single from the base of the sheet with 'CP' Monogram (of Charles Potter), a little aged & minor gum-loss, Cat £500++. Rare.
1897 Diamond Jubilee Charity 1d (1/-) & 2½d (2/6d) SG 280-281 fine used, the 1d centred a little high with central 'OXLEY' 1897 cds, the 2½d with a couple of uneven perfs and light numeral cancel, Cat £275.

1897 Coin Reissued 5/- red-purple Perf 11x12 SG 297e marginal block of 6 (2x3) from the base of the sheet, all with large-part to full o.g. with the lower four units all possibly unmounted, Cat £330++. Multiples larger than blocks of 4 are rare. [Sold at our auction of 24.4.2009 for $466]
OFFICIALS: Overprinted 'OS' 1882-85 Wmk '40' 3d yellow-green with the Overprint Double (One Albino) SG O22aa, characteristic rough perforations, full unmounted o.g., Cat £160+ for mounted. RPSofV Certificate (2009), at which time this error was not listed by Gibbons.
OFFICIALS: Overprinted 'OS' 1890-91 Wmk '5/ ' over NSW Perf 10 5/- lilac SG O49 with Broken 'O', marginal example from the left of the sheet, a couple of minor tonespots, large-part o.g., Cat £650+. Ex Jim Johnstone.
REVENUES: Partly-annotated array on Hagners with QV to £1, good KEVII range to 10/-, later issues to £10, 'CATTLE DUTY STAMP' nine values to £1, etc, many with insurance company & other commercial perfins, plus low values on a bundle of receipts, condition variable. Good reference/study lot.

RAILWAY STAMPS: 1948 Wmk 'NSWG' 1d turquoise to 10/- grey all for 'SYDNEY', the 1d creased & the 9d with a corner fault otherwise very fine, lightly mounted; also Silverton Tramways 1d scarlet unmounted strip of 5 from the top of the sheet, 1½d green and 6d blue, and 'C' in blue 'texta' converting 1½d to 1c x2, very lightly mounted.
