British West Indies. 1857-1977 Covers with stampless 1857 cover from G.B to St. Kitts, other covers from G.B to various islands (6), covers from Jamaica (17, with 1901 Paquebot), Bahamas (2), Barbados (4), Bermuda (3), British Guiana (7, one 1936 cover to Barbados with two 1d postage dues applied upon arrival), Trinidad (2) or Antigua. South & Central America. c.1868-1965 Covers, the extensive collection including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Colombia (with Scadta covers), Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico (with 1868 Guadalajara 2r), Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, etc., also some ingoing covers from G.B, some with letters, an interesting lot. Austria & Hungary. c.1850-1990 Covers and lettersheets with stamps of Austria, Bosnia or Hungary, also a few stampless covers, some with contents including printed death notices, a few possibly from royalty, military mail, postage dues, etc. (c.200).

Austria & Germany/G.B. 1852-1905 Covers from G.B to Austria (8) or Germany (21) including 1852 stampless covers prepaid 8d in cash (2), 1861-74 covers franked 3d (3), 4d pair or 6d (5), an unusual 1881 cover from Battle to Vienna franked 1d + 1½d, 1863 cover from Canterbury with oval "P.D" of Dover, etc. (29).

Canada. 1855-1969 Covers including stamps of Nova Scotia (2), New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland (2), prestamp mail, transatlantic, 1859 5c (2), 1868 3c, small Queen issues, etc. (121).

Canada/G.B. 1848-1948 Covers from G.B to Canada including stampless covers (5, one with "ST. KEVERNE" undated circle on the front, another with a Paid c.d.s applied in error and deleted), 1862-75 covers franked 3d (3), 4d pair, 6d (3), 1d pair + 6d or 2d + 6d, etc. (36).

Denmark & Iceland. c.1890-1985 Covers from Denmark (92) or Iceland (20), many with printed death notices enclosed, also covers from G.B to Denmark (13) and some death notices without envelopes. (123+).

Egypt & Sudan. 1870-1952 Covers from Egypt (35) or Sudan (3), and covers from G.B to Egypt (5), including 1891 cover to Malta signed by the Duke of Cambridge, 1898 stampless cover from Cairo to Assouan signed by Lord Curzon, 1898-99 covers to London with enclosed letters signed by Curzon (2, one hand delivered, the other posted in London franked 1d, probably sent by diplomatic bag), Cooks Tourist Office c.d.s on covers from G.B redirected to the Mena House Hotel or returned to G.B unclaimed, etc. (43).

Finland & Russia. 1865-1991 Covers and lettersheets from Finland (28) or Russia (29) including printed death notices, also a few ingoing covers (5) including 1879 unpaid stampless cover from Sweden to Finland charged upon arrival. (62).

France/G.B. 1839-1941 Covers and lettersheets from G.B to France including stampless covers (4), 1859-75 covers franked at 3d (7), 4d (21) or 8d (2) rates, 1875 registered cover franked 6d grey plate 14, 1877 cover from York franked 1d and charged 5c postage due, 1893 cover with 2½d cancelled by St. Malo c.d.s with "ANG. B.M. / ST MALO" c.d.s alongside, 1894 cover franked 2½d with a 10c postage due for redirection, etc. (77).

French Colonies. 1890-1959 Covers from Indo China (11, three first flights), Morocco (23, with military mail and Marrakech 10c local on 1900 part cover to Mazagan), Algeria (13, also two 1883 covers from G.B), Tunisia (11), New Caledonia, French Somali Coast, Reunion (3, with 1892 cover bearing 10c + 15c overprints), etc. (74).

Gibraltar/Malta/Cyprus. 1863-1936 Covers, including 1865 cover franked 6d from G.B to Gibraltar with circular framed "S" handstamp (applied to mail delivered via Spain), 1863-70 covers franked G.B 6d from Malta (2) or Gibraltar (2), 1890 cover bearing Gibraltar 25c on 2½d surcharge, etc. (18).

India. 1867 Mourning covers from Calcutta to London, two franked at the 6a8p rate with a single 6a8p or 8p + 1a pair + 4a, the other two endorsed by Express to Bombay and franked 4a + 6a8p for the 10a8p rate, all fine, an unusual group. (4). Photo on Page 58. (Image1)

Portugal. 1836-1972 Covers and lettersheets including 1908 letters on royal notepaper sent after the assassination of the King (2, with envelopes), crowned Congress cancels (2, one stampless, one bearing Congreso de los Dipitados stamp), 1872 cover to Sweden with imperf 100r + perforated 120r, also Cape Verde, etc., some with enclosed letters or cards.
