Mexico, 1867, Gothic "Mexico", ½r black on buff. O.g., full margins, natural pre-printing paperfold, Very Fine and choice, this stamp was from a small run at the end of the issue, they had run out of paper and used paper remnants, with 1959 P.F. & 2013 M.E.P.S.I. certificates.

Mexico, 1867, Gothic "Mexico", 1r black on green. Tied by Diligencias de Cuautla oval handstamp (Schatzkes 844) on 1868 folded letter sheet to Mexico, Very Fine, although Gothic stamps were meant to be used from Mexico City, there were 2,000 stamps sent to the Stagecoach Company to be used from Cuautla, there are only 3-4 covers recorded and are rarities, with 1998 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
