Rothchild's San Francisco branch at a 'good rate of exchange'. In addition Oetling mentions he wants to represent British holders of Mexico's bonds and take care of their interests at the Colima Customs House, telling Whitehead The Customs House is not disbursing bondholder monies 'according to the agreement. Most of the bond issue was sold to European interests, with Whitehead acting as selling agent.
