Massachusetts -- Baldwinville double-ring 1849 stampless folded letter to Fitzwilliam Massachusetts Good double ring postmark and numeral 5 in black on this letter to Dexter Whittemore regarding receipt of his catalog for hats. Whitmore kept a small store in Fitzwilliam. He is said to have been the first merchant of Cheshire county to give up the sale of spirituous liquors.
