From Australia. 1954 (Mar. 12) Covers enclosed within oversize O.H.M.S. buff ambulance envelopes, comprising cover with Malaya resealing label within 250x122mm envelope with London Official Paid c.d.s, cover franked 18/- within 153x122mm envelope, and an airline mail envelope to the Australian Booking Unit B.O.A.C. within 280x125mm envelope, the ambulance envelopes or contents all with usual handstruck boxed cachet in red. Also buff foolscap annotated O.H.M.S. cover with contents to Australian P.O. representative at the High Commission franked 2/-. A scarce and unusual group. (8).

From Australia. 1954 (Mar. 11/12) Covers, various rates and frankings, including Forces Air Letter franked 10d, Forces Concession Rate letter franked 3d, ambulance envelope with unusual handstruck (instead of printed) cachet, cachet in mixture of red and violet inks, ambulance envelope with printed cachet much redirected and returned with D.L.O. Melbourne label on reverse, Malaya "Found Open and Officially Secured" label, etc., an interesting lot. (11)

From New Zealand. 1954 (Mar. 10/11) Covers with meter marks (3) all enclosed within O.H.M.S. ambulance envelopes with printed cachets, one a white envelope with manuscript "NZ", the other two buff envelopes with manuscript "NZ" or "A" (in error), one cover with handstruck cachet. (6).

From New Zealand. 1954 (Mar. 10) Cover from Wellington with 1/6 meter, enclosed within O.H.M.S. buff ambulance envelope (304x125mm) with manuscript "NZ", the largest size ambulance envelope seen for this flight. (2).

From Fiji / New Zealand - Missent Mail. 1954 (Mar. 8) Cover from New Zealand addressed to Voe, Shetland Islands, misdirected with "MISSENT FIJI" cachet in violet, soiled and charred, enclosed within a buff O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope with printed cachet in red. A remarkable cover, one of just two recorded from Fiji. Ex Norman Hoggarth. (2)

Supplementary Cachets. 1954 (Mar. 11) Cover from Australia franked Royal Visit 2/- with straight line "SALVAGED MAIL-AIRCRAFT CRASH. / SINGAPORE 13-3-54" in black; cover from New Zealand, the stamps washed off, with "SALVAGED MIL / SINGAPORE CRASH" in black; and a clearer strike of this last cachet in violet on a plain buff ambulance envelope, all three to England, first has contemporary tape at sides. A rare trio. (3).

Maritime Mail. 1954 G.B Coronation Air Letter posted on board R.M.S. "Orcades" from Fremantle to England with Paquebot machine cancel and red handstruck cachet.
