Austria - London G.P.O. Supplementary Cachet. 1954 (Mar. 11) Registered cover from Canberra to Vienna franked 8/9, with boxed "DAMAGED / BY FIRE" cachet in violet and the usual handstruck red cachet, Wien 1 perforated resealing labels at foot tied on reverse by 'received damaged' cachets with arrival backstamp. Germany. 1954 (Mar. 10) Cover from Mackay, Queensland, franked 2/- to Berlin, enclosed within a white O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope with printed cachet, redirected but not found, bearing small perforated "Unbekannt / Inconnu" label, returned initially to Singapore and then to Brisbane. Also 10d Aerogramme from Yarraville, Victoria, to Weser, British Zone. (3).

Germany. 1954 (Mar. 11) 10d Aerogramme from Sydney with handstruck cachet, enclosed within a buff O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope with printed cachet; and a cover from New Zealand franked 1/9, enclosed within a similar ambulance envelope. (4).

Hong Kong. 1954 (Mar. 10) Cover from Sydney to Hong Kong franked 1/3, with handstruck cachet. One of four covers recorded to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong - From Papua New Guinea. 1954 (Mar. 10) Long cover to Hong Kong with remaining 1/- stamp just tied by handstruck cachet in red, another stamp washed off. One of two covers recorded from Papua New Guinea (and one of four covers recorded to Hong Kong). Very scarce.

India. 1954 (Mar. 10) Covers from Australia franked 1/3 to Madras or Bombay, both with handstruck cachet, the first with complete Malaya "Found Open and Officially Secured" label tied by a second strike of the handstruck cachet. Two of the five recorded covers to India. (2).

Netherlands - From Australia. 1954 (Mar. 8-12) Covers franked 2/- (2) and 10d aerogrammes (2), one cover with Malaya "Found Open and Officially Secured" label, the two aerogrammes enclosed within with buff or white O.H.M.S. ambulance envelopes with printed cachets, the buff item addressed to Post Office for local delivery as the name is undecipherable. Netherlands - From New Zealand - Gravenhage cachet. 1954 (Mar. 10) Cover franked 1/9, enclosed within a buff O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope (flap missing) with printed cachet to Nymegen, with Gravenhage datestamp and a Dutch cachet in violet, which translates as "Gravenhage Post Office Forwarding Letter Mail. Netherlands - From New Zealand - Gravenhage cachet. 1954 (Mar. 9/10) Covers to Den Haag or Amsterdam, the first with Dutch 8c and 30c postage dues on the front, partly opened out to show Dutch printed PTT resealing tape which bears a different Gravenhage cachet to previous lot, which translates as "Received at Post Office s'Gravenhage Damaged. The Head Postmaster". The cover to Amsterdam matched with buff O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope, both with handstruck cachets, the ambulance envelope with Not Known (on walk?) and postmasters number with another unclear cachet, both in violet. An unusual pair, the only recorded example of the Gravenhage cachet. (3).

Netherlands - From New Zealand - Rotterdam cachet. 1954 (Mar. 9) Cover franked 9d + marginal 1/- with handstruck cachet, the 1/- also tied by cachet applied on arrival in black, which translates as "Received at Rotterdam Damaged", with initials. One of three recorded , ex Baron Six van Oterleek.

Netherlands - From New Zealand - Utrecht cachet and ambulance envelope. 1954 (Mar. 10) Air Letter franked 8d to Utrecht with handstruck cachet, enclosed within a Dutch ambulance envelope with large window to display the delivery address, the reverse with the violet Dutch cachet, which translates as "Received at Utrecht Damaged. The Head Postmaster", an explanatory slip enclosed. The only recorded examples of this ambulance envelope and explanatory slip, and one of two recorded examples of the cachet. Sarawak. 1954 (Mar. 11) G.B Coronation Air Letter overstamped by Australia 1d + 9d, from Perth to Resident 3rd Division, Sibu, enclosed within a white O.H.M.S. ambulance envelope with printed cachet and manuscript "A", arrival backstamp. The only cover recorded to Sarawak.

Singapore. 1954 (Mar. 8-11) Covers from Australia (2) or New Zealand to Singapore, including meter cover from Abbotsford repaired with Malaya "Found Open and Officially Secured" labels tied with clear strike of handstruck cachet, also 2/- Royal Visit cover from Brisbane and F.D.C of New Zealand low values, both with slightly weak handstruck cachets. Mail to Singapore uncommon. (3).

Singapore - From Singapore / Australia. 1954 (Mar. 7) Cover franked Singapore 50c to Australia (Mar. 12 Sydney arrival), re-directed back to Singapore and thus on the ill-fated flight, with Malaya "Found Open and Officially Secured" labels tied by a clear strike of handstruck cachet in red.
